In 2020, Dr Katyal reached a landmark achievement of over 1000 clear aligner cases successfully treated. She is a pioneer and a leader in using latest 3D technologies to help deliver predictable and fast orthodontic treatments using clear aligners like Invisalign and Spark.

Dr Vandana Katyal is a certified Specialist Orthodontist. She is highly experienced in delivering the latest, most efficient and most comfortable invisible dental orthodontic treatments. She is also Head Lecturer for The Digital Orthodontic College (a subsidiary of Best Orthodontic Seminars & Sessions RTO).
In 2014 Dr Katyal started treating her adult and teen patient with clear aligners when it was considered to be quite a difficult technique. The patients loved it and the results were so impressive that in 2017 Dr Katyal wrote a book “Love is All you need and a Good Orthodontist” for her patients to share her initial experiences with clear aligners. In the same year, Dr Katyal was acclaimed as being in the Top 1% of Invisalign providers within Australia. She is also an Elite Provider of Spark Clear Aligners and has completed over 1000 cases of clear aligner treatments for patients varying from ages 6 to 85 years!
Today Dr Katyal continues to deliver opinions, diagnosis and care via her virtual orthodontic consultancy. She leads the industry by teaching, coaching, partnering and mentoring dentists as well as orthodontists to deliver excellence in their orthodontic treatments using clear aligner techniques.

Education and Qualifications
Dr Vandana Katyal is an Australian certified and registered Specialist Orthodontist since 2013.
Dr Katyal earned her Bachelors of Dental Surgery in 2001 and her Master of Science in Medicine (Clinical Epidemiology) at The University of Sydney in 2010. In 2013 Dr Katyal completed her Doctor of Clinical Dentistry in Orthodontics from The University of Adelaide and Membership in Orthodontics, from the Royal Australasian College of Dental Surgeons and Royal College of Surgeons Edinburgh.
In 2019 she completed a Master of Business Administration (MBA) and the world’s most innovative Design Thinking bootcamp from Stanford University. In 2021 she also completed her Certificate IV in Training and Assessment.
Dr Katyal’s research interests centre around clear aligner treatments, virtual orthodontic monitoring, paediatric sleep-disordered breathing and more. Her research has been published in Australian, European and American orthodontic journals which read by dentists and orthodontists world-wide. She is the recipient of two prestigious Sam Bulkley AB Orthodontics Travelling Fellowships in 2013 and 2014. Dr Katyal shares this honour along with only the most distinguished Australian leaders in the field of Orthodontics.
Dr Katyal is also an avid lecturer at national and international orthodontics conferences. She is a course director and lead lecturer for The Digital Orthodontic College, a registered training organisation in Australia and UK delivering accredited qualifications in clear aligner treatments for dental practitioners globally.
