Bushfires ease, but support is still needed
As we experienced this heartbreaking summer of bushfires, we watched, often feeling helpless, as our land, wildlife and rural communities burned.
Currently, the bushfires have, thankfully, eased, but the recovery is only just getting started – and the threat of new fires remains.
Like so many across Australia and the world, many members of the CCC Smiles community have been incredibly generous in your donations to support the work of the rural firefighters, the aid agencies assisting fire-ravaged communities, and those doing what they can to rescue and treat our poor animals.
To assist devastated communities, CCC Smiles donated 10% of proceeds in January to Australian bushfire relief via the NSW Rural Fire Service and the Australian Red Cross.
